Hot Topic - Thanks for ruining my holidays!
I was approved for thr hot topic credit card and placed an order with hot topic in 12/16/2018. I was ensured that my purchase would arrive by Christmas. I was willing to pay for overnight mail and was told there was no need.
One item from that package was shipping. Just one. On 12/20/2018 I got an email from hot topic telling me my order was cancelled. I looked on the site and all items were available.
I called hot topic and they said they would reorder my items with overnight mail. The rep placed the order on the same card and it was declined.
I called the bank associated with the hot topic card and was told the money that was charged is scheduled to be released back to my card on 12/26. The day after christmas.
All those gifts for my daughter are now done.
Our holiday has been destroyed.
I will never deal with hot topic again and have told my friends, as well as posted to my social media page what I had to go through.
There goes business you could have had.

I had a similar problem only now they claim I have a 165$ charge pending that makes no sense.
